WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging application, has again introduced the latest features for Android and iOS users in various countries.
After reportedly testing the Reaction feature on Android, this application belonging to Meta has revealed two of its newest features.
The two new WhatsApp features are Flash Calls and Message Level Reporting , as quoted from Gizmochina , Wednesday (12/24/2021).
The first is Message Level Reporting. This feature allows users to report accounts to WhatsApp by flagging certain messages.
To use this feature, you only need to long press the desired message if you want to report or block unwanted users.
Armed with this feature, users can overcome spam messages , hate speech, spread of hoaxes, or messages that are illegal or criminal.
In its latest report, WhatsApp said it had blocked more than 2.2 million accounts as of September 2021.
Furthermore, the Flash Call feature allows Android users to reinstall WhatsApp on their devices more easily.
Instead of relying on SMS for the phone number verification process, users will now receive automatic calls.
WhatsApp claims, this feature is much more secure considering everything is done from within the application. Not from a third party app.
WhatsApp Starts Testing the Reaction Feature
On the other hand, WhatsApp is also starting to bring the reaction feature for the beta version of the application on Android.
This information is known from the WABetaInfo report after the beta version 184.108.40.206 began to be released.
As the name implies, this feature allows users to react to messages received.
